POP UP CIRCUS

POP UP CIRCUS is based between Lower Austria, Salzburg and Vienna. The aim is to spread research based professional contemporary circus in Austria , a circus which experiments with different spaces and languages, such as music, fine arts and performance.

POP UP CIRCUS takes itself the freedom to focus on non fixed performances , which means , that every performance is unique and adapted to the space where performed, if its a theatre , a garage ,a hill , etc. ....

There is not a fixed group of performers/creators, but every time a new team coming together from different art fields,  such as contemporary circus, music, fine arts , dance or media arts.

POP UP CIRCUS ist ein experimentellses Performance-Format, mit dem Ziel zeitgenössischen , experimentellen Zirkus in Östrreich stattfinden zu lassen.

Es gibt kein fixes Team , sondern je nach Auftrittsort und Format wird ein Team an KünstlerInnen zusammengestellt, die gemeinsam Neues erschaffen.
